Explorer Mike explained

The discovery of explorer Mike has been long awaited by the expectations of many – although many will deny. So what can be said of this new name of Mike in a not-so-long explanation? Basically it was a season that my life had to undergo in order to be. Did you catch that? Let me bring up the scripture found in 1 Corinthian 13:11:

11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.

Isn’t that the dream of every logical thinking being? To be seen as a person of maturity? Refine the scripture even more, knowing that there is more than just the basic text. I’ve seen many teenagers struggle to find their identity and how unfortunate that they come out of adolescence ‘messed up’. They have lost their very persona!

So on with my journey to discover. Discover what? Discover who my eyes don’t see me as. Wow! Don’t we often forget that we are more than what we see ourselves as!? The Holy Spirit being my compass, God as my form of keeping me sane and Jesus as the companion to keep me company.

Warning to those who are wanting to take such an adventure of being: expect.

Expect:

- Losing everything you’ve earned, learnt and gained

- Loss of friendships

- Hurts off those who love you

Why is negativity highlighted? Only the strong survive… Prepare the mind for failed expectations, embrace pain but don’t worry, do it all with smiles knowing that there’s Someone more reliable will be there for your aide.

Amazing discovery that compliments on our journey to be. it is found in 1 Corinthian 13:12 (msg version only)

We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!
I believe the scripture is speaking to a certain someone. To the one that has no idea on how to go about life, where to start or what to do. Rest in this hope - God knows us!
